While this patch is a little smaller than recent patches it still has some very exciting stuff and there is a lot happening behind the scenes so this is a good time for us to get a build out and make sure everything is running smoothly.

This patch features an exciting rebalancing of Xol and some fun Coop 2 updates. Let's just get right to it

Build 0.0.6.10990a

Gameplay

Xol
We're altering Xol as she's been a little too punishing in early game skirmishes and in worker lines while also falling off very hard later in the game. We've taken some steps to encourage fighting army units and make her more effective at it. Now you can reap the rewards of using the apex hunter to take down some juicy prey.

  • Xol movement speed decreased 470 -> 380.
  • Xol attack range decreased 700 -> 600.
  • Xol empowered AOE attack flat damage decreased 34 -> 15.
  • Xol empowered AOE attack now deals 15% of target's Max Life.
  • Xol when summoned now gathers Trophies (equal to Supply Population) from enemies that die within 2 seconds of Xol damaging them. These trophies are displayed on the left where the other immortal resources are shown.
  • Xol also now gains power based on number of Trophies gathered. The bonus power is gained after passing Trophy thresholds (5, 10, 20, 30, 45, 65, 90, 120, 160). Each threshold passed provides:
     +10 movement speed,
     +20 Life,
     +10 shield,
     +3 single target damage,
     +1 AOE damage,
     +1% AOE Max Life damage,
     +25 Range.
  • Additionally Great Hunt is now unlocked once Xol has gathered at least 30 trophies.

Coop 2

  • Now has a mission difficulty selector. When the player selects harder difficulty settings, squads spawn with higher unit variety.
    - Normal difficulty: spawns tier 1 units. 
    - Hard difficulty: spawns tier 1 and 2 units.
    - Insane difficulty: spawns tier 1, 2 and 3 units.
    - Immortal difficulty: spawns tier 1, 2 and 3 units as well as Vanguard units.
  • Many fixes and tweaks to unit spawning.
  • Optional escort objective can now be retried if failed.
  • Enemy bases now visible at the start of the game.
  • Power core movement changed to stop with no units nearby and ramp up with more units nearby.
  • Now has multiple king of the hill areas to control.

Quality Of Life

  • Updated Saoshin video tooltips.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed Birthing Storm audio to not be so loud and so everywhere all at once.
  • Fixed Keeper of the Hardened Flame radius being too small so that tiny melee units were unable to attack it.
  • Fixed a spot on lost province where flying units would clip straight through a rock.

Maps
Once again many little improvements to visuals and a few gameplay tweaks on recently changed maps like Frontiers and Canyon. Also fixed navigation on God Mode Army Draft which was broken
